steering column bush

I'm trying to replace the steering column bush on my 400SE with a bearing using the technique shown in the wedgepages article but my problem is that my steering column is triangular (Ford?). Has anyone done this mod. on a triangular column? Does anyone know which bearing fits this column? TIA

I recently had Austec carry out such a mod on my wedge. Made a significant difference; the column no longer shudders over uneven road surfaces, feels a lot more solid now. Steering also feels a fair bit sharper too. I don't think they used the RS bearing as detailed in a ph thread some time ago; if yr at BBWF yr welcome to have a look.
