Where's The Rev ?

After we saw the SEAC at Le Mans, we all departed, leaving him, and his car in france. DOes anyone know if he made it home ok ?

Last we saw of him as we woz heading out Maison Blanc he said he was staying in France about 2 hours south with relatives for the week

So hopefully all is ok and Alan elaine and car will probably be back this weekend. Hope so as the WSV has a lot of gear from Alan and Steve to be picked up before me car boot sale

Well, we passed through Le Mans this morining. Stopped at Carrfore for supplies before heading to Le Harvre. All the camp sites are covered in crap still. Bins overflowing, wstripped of most valuables by the pikes. We did stop and peer though the gates of Mason Blanche, but the place was deserted.

No signs of the SEAC on the side of the road en - route to the Ferry.

Back home in Blighty last night..

Bit of a tale of woe..

Had a great time at Le Mans but during a shopping trip (1 mile) to Arnage from the camp site the SEAC broke down on the way back ..

The water pump was seizing .. causing the front pulley to come off .. I removed bonnet and hammered on the front pulley ... then called the breakdown service fron the camp site.

They recovered the car to a local garage to fix the problem.

Sadly the UK parts supplier severly let us down by not being able to get a water pump to France in a week - so we got a flight home and the recovery company will bring the car home soon..
