All,

OK - The main meeting point for the southern meeting point will be on Saturday 28th July :

9:30~10am - High Wycombe cinema car park - just off M40 J4.

Directions to the meeting point: MAP
Exit M40 and take the A4010 sign for Aylesbury.
Exit LEFT into Crest Rd (Cinema on your left)
Take next RIGHT into carpark you'll see us.

NB - If you want to get Optimax before meeting up: MAP
(coming from London)
Exit M40 and take 5th exit (one after the A4010)
Straight over roundabout
Turn LEFT at roundabout onto Desborough Avenue - SHELL is on your right and will probably be full of TVRs .

10:15 am departure.

We will take the usual non motorway route for those who have done it before.

Email me if you want the route in advance but it essence - it's all non motorway and takes about 1.5 hrs to get to Ettington and we get the benefit of waking up a few sleepy villages smile

So - we should arrive at around 12 midday.

Post here if you want to meet here and if anyone want to meet prior to this - enroute.

Hi Alan,
I will be travelling up the A34 with at least 2 other wedges, originally thinking of just getting on the M40. Whereabouts will you be crossing around here, and your best guess at a time?
Cheers
Woody

Woody.

I live near the A34, and might be tempted to convoy with you fellas from Chieveley??

Lemme know. We could head across east and meet up with the rest at H. Wycombe...

Hi Ed,
If the others in the convoy from the Real south wink would be happy doing that then i would be also, but was initially hoping there could be a RV point near Oxford somewhere?

Cheers

For all of the previous BBWF's I have stuck on the A34 until the Oxford Services (I'm sure it has anoher name but that is what I know it by) smile

Then off on the A44 and the A3400 to Ettingham - nice roads and lots of villages to rumble through wink

Tis the only way I know and not a motorway in sight.

Be happy to drop off at Chieverly to pick up a straggler wink

Paul

Weather, Wife and Baby dependant, I might be tempted to dust off the 400SE and wander up.
Meeting on the A34 an Idea, Chievely doable, or if anyone is further south, dont mind Sutton Scotney Services Northbound.
Im not a big fan of Motorways either so an alternative route preferrable

Thats good news thumbup Thanks Alan.

Instead of stopping once at Sutton and once at Chievley we may as well just do a meet at Chievley, We may even catch you up the A34, there's at least 3 coming from the South coast. We'll peel off the A34 to a convenient spot once I've seen Alan's route.
