Ignition timing

Hi all, does anyone know the ignition timing for the rv8 3.5?

Try about 8 degrees BTDC as a starting point.

Also depends on what fuel your using.
95 ron or 98/99 ron have different ignition timing settings.

When I had mine set up, the timing was advanced until the engine started to pink and then retarded slightly. This has worked fine for me.

Agreed - also will work out close to 28 degrees at full advance (4000 revs..)

That sounds about right without vacuum.
