shoutWedgefest Needs Your Car

We are looking for one tidy example of each(not concours necessarily)of each of the following models to be included in a Tasmin/Wedge Timeline display at this years BBWF - to show how the model developed over its 11 year history.

As far as we are aware this has never been attempted before so could make for a unique and historic picture opportunity, which would be a good thing in TVRs 60th year!

If you have one of the following models and would like to be considered for the display please email me on sdtvr@yahoo.co.uk with name model & colour (pic would handy too if you have one).

1980 Mk1 Tasmin FHC
1980/1 Mk1 Tasmin Convertible
1980/1 Mk 1 Tasmin 2 + 2 FHC
1982/4 Tasmin 200
1982/4 TasminTurbo
1983/4 Mk1 350i FHC
1983/4 Mk1 350i Convertible
1983/8 280i FHC
1983/8 280i Convertible
1984/5 Mk1 390SE Convertible
1986 Mk2 350i Convertible
1986 Mk2 390SE Convertible
1986 420 SEAC
1988 450 SEAC
1988/91 400SE
1989/91 450SE

Wot about the specials - you know the ones - the very very special factory issued cars - of interesting background, with different body, or possible racing links, and special order cars?

(Dons helmet and retreats to bunker, RPG at the ready!)

I bow to your greater knowledge Ian - the model date above was hoisted from TVR "launch" info - dates are not neccesarily accurate but simply indicators of model/year changes -
and due to space we are not looking for every derivitive/special/or one modification just the major factory model changes to show how the bodyshape and basic engine format evolved.

You're welcome to use the 400SX but it still has a crack in the rear bumper from last year (at last I have found someone to do the repair) so any photoshoots would have to be frontal or if from the rear, passenger side only.

Alan the year is not crucial it was simply an indication as to the year each model went on sale or was launched - not an indication that the Timeline car must be from that year so your 89 is perfectly acceptable, unless its Alegro Beige or Maxi Brown!
