SOS lifts needed to BBWF from Leeds
Discussion
Hi all,
well Mr Scott and I had been planning to make the BBWF as usual and have our usual room booked at the Grey Nag. All the planning looked good until last night when Scott, the clumsy tw@, decided to do some more work on the inspection pit he's been digging, and fell down the hole, busting his arm and wrist in a few places...
I haven't had the time to get my wedge back on the road since recovering from my back injury last year, and I'm flying to Brittany on the monday from east mids airport so I can't drive Scott down in his car either.
So we need a couple of seats if anyone can help.
Please PM me or post below if you can offer a ride to our favourite annual event.
Thanks

Rog & Mr Scott, sorry to hear of your troubles. Unfortunately I'm no where near to be able to offer a lift but I implore the wedge collective to do it's best to get you there. BBWF wouldn't be the same without you!
Just as a thought, what train lines can you easily get to? Maybe you could be picked up somewhere along the way?
Hope Mr Scott hasn't damaged his drinking arm.
All the best

Edit to add this link it might give you some clues about who to approach for a lift.

No no no sir2nd, nice to see you back on here
3rd (sorry Scott
) Do you mean JagD?Not me my old mucka, Im fine, fit as a fiddle and still plugging away at life, but unfortunately not going to the BBWF
If I would've known in advance that trickie dickie would be on holiday and his ticket was going spare, I would've popped down too...although not in a Wedge you understand!
Hope all is well Rog, been a while mate
Hope you manage to secure some transport down there

After being a flaming clot and breaking my wrist and arm I am still looking for a ride to the BBWF (I'm the guy who did the talk on V8's last year! and usually hangs around with the rather distinctive due to his stature, Tallbloke)I was going to be driving us both down until I tried to take off the end of my arm with the rather blunt edge of my existing garage concrete foundations. I haven'y missed a BBWF yet and would be gutted if I did this year. I am in south Leeds very near to M62 & M1 junctions and would gladly contribute to fuel costs of any one who can give me a lift! please help!
cheers, Mr-Scott
