Well, damn, I've been driving it a few days now since fixing it and I can't believe I went that long without a spin in it without manic-depressive suicide! laugh

My leading link (aka radius arm to North Americans) broke at the big nut where it joins the frame. I called tvrparts, a few brit car boneyards, taimar83 here in NA, but nobody had at the time one for sale..... I said F-it, go rent a mig welder.

I first consulted a few wheel alignment guys (from different shops) to get their opinions and plot my course of action. They'd all said it's a non-adjustable part anyhow and simply butting the ends back up and welding it would suffice.... it did! Drives like normal, no pull with the steering etc etc.

On another note, I know a speedo can read 10-15% or more off, but I did get a speedo indicated 150, flat and level, no tail/head wind, out of the blue beast. biggrin I was surprised at that.

On yet another note, happy BBWF guys/gals.... it'll be on my birthday.... I wish I could make it.
SOMEONE POST PICS!!!!! (I'll be busy showing off Kanaduh's wedge here..... http://vsccc.ca/europe/poster.htm)

Get yourself a satnav system they was show you a GPS speed, that correct to about 1%.

Handy so you can go the max speed allowed, poinless going 70 speedo speed if your are only doing 60.
