But only on CO2, will be at BBWF for sure now smile

MOT tester complimented me on the suspension rebuild that has took 2 years to finish on and off! I had forgot just how loud the car was, but trust me to pick one of the wettest days to book in for a MOT. Still got loads to do to get the car finished but I will be there.

Whould he not let you adjust it at the station as it was only the CO2 level.

Be nice to see what you hve done at BBWF.

Mine is a 1989 and only 32000 miles so vot you beat, but yours is a year older.

Gives me hope mine will be ok if yours was out of action for 2 years and was still ok,

any thing I should look out for.

Thanks

In the past they have just turned the mixture down, run the print and then put it back for me but since this new MOT as soon as they run the gas analyser the results get passed on and its a fail. I guess we could have checked before hand and adjusted but I just booked the MOT. It will all be sorted when I drop it back in on Wednesday though.

Re not running for a while, it has had regular start ups and a trip up and down the drive once it had the wheels back on, but no replacement for giving it a blast. It did sruggle to tickover for a while but I went to the MOT station the long way round mainly to try and bed the brakes in a bit.I think the old fuel in the pipes didn't help, once the fresh stuff got through it was much better.

The gas analyser isn't linked, it just means you have to do the gas test again so maybe he couldn't be bothered or was too busy.

Pretty sure it was the later then, because they didnt have time to sort it for me at the time hence the re-booking. I must admit I was a bit suprised when he told me that!
