Took the 390 out today to let it dry out a bit after being used on Friday morning!!
Found a new road: B3051 between Kingsclere and Whitchurch. Fantastic, but scared myself half to death as its a little bumpy and my rear shocks ned a good tweak up. Was like sitting on a high speed blancmange at times.
The only thing that annoys me a little is its lack of grunt above 5k. Been doing it ever since I got it. The only evidence Ive got is that the Rolling road chaps said it was running quite lean at the top end, and without a remappable ecu, they couldnt adjust the top of the curve. Really, it starts to wane a little above 4.5k.
'S got plenty of grip at medium/low speed corners though!!
On a racetrack, what kind if speeds could people pull in 2nd, 3rd and 4th?
