Just thought chaps -

If there's anyone wanting to go to BBWF but is currently Wedgeless at the moment and is in the SE/London/Home Counties/East Anglia area then:-

YOU MAY DRIVE MY CAR TO BBWF!!!

I'll get it insured on my policy (cost?) and vroom - off you go!

May I come too? That way, I get to BBWF after all!

I would love to take this opportunity up, if that's ok with yourself JJ? I would of course be more than willing to pay the cost of putting me on the insurance. What do you think?

Thank you for your replies so far - any other interested parties?

I will give it some thought as to the best way to go about this - time and day of start etc..

Some of you have or will have (in due course) individual replies.

Hi JJ,

Thank you for your Emails.

But just got the MOT for my 400SE, hope it will not ring too many alarm bells at DVLA mot at 10PM. on a car that's not had a MOT for 6-7 years.

So unless somthing major happend from now to then, I'll be going in my car.

Thank you for your email, and hope you find somone suitable.

And sorry for messing you about, but it was real touch and go. we nearly gave up. but last try worked. always the way.

Hope to see you and the wedge there.

Leigh.

Glad to hear about your car Leigh. Hope it all works OK.

10 p.m. MOT - well that just has to be handy!

Didn't feel you were messing me about at all - good that it has worked out for you.

Maybe see you there.

I will most likely be taking the 'northern' route - A12 to Ipswich and then A14 all round to Rugby and then south to Ettington. It worked for me last6 time (2004) and proved to be quite fast.

I feel that the M25 - M40 route will go too close to flooded areas - maybe even into them. And I feel that those poor people over there have enough worries without me adding to them.

Those of you who know that side of the country better than I do probably know routes around the flooded areas.
