I too would like to add my thanks to Gandalf and everyone involved in a super weekend at Wedge Fest. It was great to be back for the second year in a row, and today's run out in the countryside was fabulous, and the great weather helped as well.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a great weekend.

Another big thank you here to All of the organisation team, you all pulled together a fantastic couple of days bowbowbowbow My first BBWF.
Another great drive out on Sunday Mr Gandalf clapclapclap The PMR radios proving their worth once again. The response from the Cotswold villagers who all came out of their houses to listen to the 20+ strong V8 sound track in High Street 'Sound off competition' was great. Great company everywhere Oh and some not bad looking cars too.

Well the WSV and Wedge are all back home after a fantastic weekend, some great times had, loads of highs, a few lows.

Enjoyed meeting everyone again, or for the first time (even though you'd been there for 4 years !!)

The cars as ever were superb, and the Red arrow display must be a first smile

Fantastic curry Friday night, but the thing that topped it all off for me was the run out and lunch on Sunday, absoulutley superb place and food, and even wqith 20 or so cars in convoy well organised Well done Gandalf smilesmile ( Good spot for BBWF 08 wink )
Especially liked the village where 20 Tivs met 4 Ferrari's coming the other way :loud: not sure how traumatised the locals got with all the noise though yikes

Great wedgefest. I am really lookingf forward to 2008. I am in total agreement 1 fest a year is not enough. Should maybe have a few more around the country. North,South,East,West, Maybe a few ideas could be shared via this site. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Cheers

Rob

Ps

Many thanks to those who managed to organise such a great event without even having to charge an entrance fee!

I gave my entrance fee to these two little charmers!

They seemed to be having a lot of fun but please make sure that mum doesn't get hold of the loud-hailer!

Would have liked to stay longer but it was my wedding anniversary so I was under orders not to stay too long.
Thanks to Wyn and the welsh lads for letting me join their convoy. I couldn't keep up at times but at least I didn't have to make a petrol stop!

Thanks again to the organisers -it was nice to meet up with fellow enthusiasts and see some other TVR's

Shame the pace was so slow .. and the road being 'rebuilt' was a disaster.. but I guess the villages we went thru had a bit of a wake up biggrin
