driving back on the M25 some guy in a Honda CRV does not want to move over, I do not do anything more than shake my head, he then sticks on his hazards and gives me the w***er sign out of the window.
Just a bit cross at this i move into the middle lane, come level with him and return the favour, and then move in front of him.
He then comes off at the M3 junction, pulling level with me and flashes a police badge and tries to indicate that i will now have 3 points, what a tw*t, am i right in saying that out of uniform he cannot achieve anything like that, he was genuinely the one that started the whole thing, is it just his word against mine?

Not a policeman.

Its probably a fake badge, and HE is commiting a crime by impersonating the police. One day he'll do that to an unmarked police car and get shat on.

Anyway, even if he WAS real, he didnt stop you. They would always stop you. If you get a NIP in the post, wheres the evidence gonna be?!? There isnt any, apart from his word, which, as I say, if he were a real copper, would have stopped you.

Get a beer out.

Ed.

I agree with Ed - Not a real copper. A real copper would have stopped you and given you a good talking too.

As Ed says, you can't get a ticket through the post as there is no evidence.

Have lots of beers.

It wouldn't be just your word against his Simon. As I saw it all as I was following you. Remember?

He isn't the only one who can fib and bu**sh*t.

You should have followed him off and stopped him to ask what the problem was.

Or took his number and reported him for impersonating a PO.

Thanks for you help this weekend mate you were good to have around.

The late night dosco was awsome!

Wee man.

We need a smiley that headbangs a steering wheel to AC/DC and then falls asleep - only to be woken by the hotel manager hehe

I can do better than that... Roger had his satnav out so we could check my speedo (which I have always believed to be over-reading by a huge margin) on a certain motorway that shall remain numberless. Unfortunately he couldn't hear the satnav bleeping its speed camera warning and it was only when we flashed past the thing that the display turned red.
At the time we were doing... erm... well, put it this way, I think I'll be getting fit from all the walking. The revs were well past 5000... in top.

Oh, and up to 100mph the speedo was only 2% high after all... banghead

Well, they got a week to get back to you. Any more than a week and they can't "do" you. If they do get back to you, theres always the valid calibration certificate route...
Good luck.

Take a look at the pepipoo web site - lots of good advice on there.

I had a fun drive back (well fun for me, not so much the missus ;^), best bit was a Honda trying to keep up with me round MK's roundabouts, I could hear his front wheels squealing behind me - excellent.

One source of driving amusement was that my gearknob had become loose - driving round the roundabouts it was coming off in my hand (ohh err) and along the straights I was screwing it back on!!!

Also flooring it away from roundabouts to leave a Focus ST a quarter of a mile behind each time ;^)
