Well been putting this off for a while so with the weather being good and before the Rugby..

All the bits from Ford outlet - £3.30p yes

First lets look at the before inside the car ..

In the wheel arch

Inside the car

Pull it apart 4 bolts inside 1 bolt on the shaft ..

Pull off the old bearing and washer .. Fit new kit make sure it is the right way round yes

All done after an hour .. whole new feel to the car! ....Result!

Chris, excellent photos , I'm going to do this next on my 350i, but I think i'll need the other type of bearing as per the wedgepages..

Hi Matt - sorry did not catch your discussion at BBWF so anything in brief would be appreciated just to make sure I have not missed anything! Read most of the posts prior to doing it though .. interesting that mine did not have lock tabs on the single bolt on the shaft but did fit spring washer and locktight on re-fitting. Test drove the car last night for a couple of miles and everything feels much tighter so well pleased yes

Forgot to add the removed knackered bits ... I think these were original from 18 years ago!

Cheers
