I was out cruising today through farmland and small towns when I passed through the town of Langdon, Alberta. It's a puny place with a population of 2500 at most. I don't know what made me decide to leave the highway through town of this middle of nowhere place, but a voice in my head said 'why not explore this town's backstreets?'. I decided to cruise through the residential section of town for the hell of it, and as I happened to look down an adjacent street to my right, I spotted an M series parked in a driveway infront of someone's house.

That kind of blew me away. When I take the wedge to a car show or show-n-shine here, seeing another TVR is possible, but as for seeing one in the wild, this was the first time.

I went home to get my cell phone charger because my phone battery was dead and I couldn't take pictures.

When I returned charger in hand, I rang the doorbell and the guy who owns the 2500 M answered.

Apparently this guy's not a TVRCCNA member, so I'll try to get chassis numbers for you etc Marshall. (if you read this)

Long story short, He took me for a ride in the supercharged 2500M and I have to admit, it was impressive for a 6 cyl engine. The car definately had a lot of snap.

Afterwards I gave him a blast in the wedge, then traded him seats on the way back and gave him a chance to see what a wedge is all about. biggrin

He also owns a Taimar.

There's also a Taimar here for sale he tells me... needs full up rebiuld.... the seller wants $15k....which is more than I paid for my wedge sans shipping/duty/taxes. rolleyes

Tempting tho... *evil grin*

Engine and blower.

It's a left hand drive TVR... owner driving.

It might not have been a wedge, but it still put a huge sh|t-eating grin on my face. biggrinyes

Very interesting, and goes to show you never know what you might run across out there. Please get me details of both cars and info on the Taimar for sale as well.
Thanks,
Marshall

I'll give you a copy of the email address he gave me.
He knew of John Wadman but hadn't heard of you or your parts store.
I told him TVRCCNA membership get's him the discount on parts so hopefully
you'll have another customer soon.
