Off to Le Mans in 4 days -- and the wedge is not feeling too clever.

I know the alingment needs doing, but the laser tracking place couldn't do it, cos the figures sent by blackpool were in two different scales, and he couldn't convert it -- and the guy down the road wouldn't touch it cos of the coil over shocks it's got -- I've got a mate to have a look tomorrow & hopefully he can get it running straight -- But would the wheel alingment feel as if one of the wheels is bouncing -- If it's the shocks that aren't set properly -- is it a nightmare to get them all level

Sounds to me like a worn shock absorber, to get the whole thing level you need corner weight jig / platform, 4 seperate scales one under each wheel.
from memory the geometry on my SEAC was :
front toe in 20 minutes
neg camber 1.2 degrees all round
can't remember rear toe in .
to change shocks or make adjustments is straight forward, just requires decent tools / facilities.

I'd agree with 2 Sheds - if a wheel is bouncing sounds like one of the shocks is dodgy. Might also be worth checking that the shock mountings are secure top and bottom. The other (easy) thing to check might be the infamous roll bar mounting brackets - if one of those has gone it makes the handling a tad interesting!

I hope so -- it's been given the all clear for a tour to Le Mans & back rather than a blat -- the wheels are now straight although the steering is heavier -- I shall take it for a long drive tomorrow -- if it's hard work then I'll have to leave it in the garage
