Just got it back from Hilton Coachworks - looks pretty good - they did a good match on my strange green metallic paint - just gotta see if this new water-based paint comes off in the rain ;^) They even cleaned up my cerbie alloys - which look nice and shinney now.

So now I have to get used to 320 bhp again, after driving nothing for 2 weeks (on holiday) and a Punto 1.1 for 10 days. Eeek! I think I'll be doing some short shifting - at least for the first few miles....

I think I'll take some nice photos today before it gets dirty again!

OK well I had a quick blat around Sawston but unfortunately there aren't that many picturesque parts around here. When I parked at one of my favourite spots, the gates of Sawston Hall, they started opening automatically! Perhaps the Squire wanted me to drive in!!

Anyhoo, the main repair is around the rear, so here's a nice shot of my rear end, that I think Combine will appreciate.

And here are my nice shinney cerbie wheels. The midges hovering overhead (presumably attracted by all that poo nearby) really pick up the setting sun - maybe one for Sprint?

cloud9 Wow, great pictures of a truly great car. There are certain experiences you never forget. That blat around the countryside in that incredible machine at BBWF will stay with me, simple as that. Has anyone ever asked you for first refusal if you ever sell Adam?

No way - the big pile of poo is totally natural.

FYI I've got an Ixus 900ti, which does a pretty good job, you should see the photos uncompressed at 5megs a pop.

Of the pile of pooh smile

Now try one with the car on top yikes

Those wheels look quite good on there and yours is a fantastic colour. Anyhows have fun trying to keep the tread on the rears with 320 smile

Hmmm, except that TVR never did a supercharged spec.

Standard 400SE quoted at 269 TVR bhp and 'measured' by most at 215 to 255 bhp. If Adam's car is a good one (likely) then the whole supercharging process will have added about 70 bhp net which sounds about right to me.

I suppose we'll never know until I get it on a rolling road. But that won't happen until it's a cold day and it's had a service. I ws quoted 340bhp when I bought the car but I think that's a little optimistic, I did the figures knowing the boost that I get and I think 320 is nearer the mark. It seems a bit down on power at the moment but I wonder if that's because it has been sitting undriven for 3 weeks. Certainly the brakes need some serious welly to bed them back in, they seem a little floppy.

Adam, the car looks fabulous! Brings back good memories of our invigorating drive in Cambridgeshire a few weeks ago to the pub. And, whatever the horsepower rating, I know the car practically flies!!!!
