Hi Guys

I need your help again. Before I throw a shed load of money (again) at the 350i has anyone had this problem. From cold it has developed a misfire, as it gets hotter it gets less and less.when engine really warmed up it only comes back occasionally, except if the revs go over 3500 and then it lets you know its there again. Before I change leads/cap etc etc (cost) I am hoping someone has had this problem before and can tell me its the little dooby valve that only costs 50p Ha Ha I wish.

Here's hoping

P.S. Still using the car - its the only pleasure I get these days smile

Anything temperature-related, replace the Engine Temp Sensor for the ECU, cost about £5-£10.

I forgot to connect the sensor one, and it ran like a dog.
You could try disconnecting it, and if no change then it's either faulty or you have a wiring problem.

There are a lot of recent threads with resistance reading and Pic's if you don't know what one it is.
