There's three different types of wheel there. If you flick back & fourth between the bottom two while staring at the edge of the rim, the rims seem to vary in thickness. scratchchin

They didn't. They changed wheel style when they went to 18in wheels. If the wheel measurements are right, they won't fit on a Wedge anyway as the rear rims would grind into the fuel tanks amongst other things.

I suspect he has measured the wheel width and diameter rather than read the tyre size. The wheel diameter is around 17 in because of the 1/2 in lip.

Well I've got a single central petrol tank on the RC so that's not going to be a problem.

I'll have another read of the advert.

Also they would be very close to the rear tie bar, well on an a standard A frame setup, but not sure what your racer would have,
As I seem to remember my 350 with 17 inch wheels and 235 tyres started to rub against the tie bar, but later found the tie bar bent slightly before it failed on me - twice frown

the RC is trailing arm, so don't have them.
