Any Wedge owners out there in the Watford Area Hertfordshire ?

Went to my first TVR meet in Harefield and there wasn't a solitary Wedge there to play with my Tallulah.

Would just like to swap tales of wondrous exhaust notes etc....

Cheers

Ozzy,

I'm in Herts and you should hear my 450SE back on the roads around the area soon... (new engine going in!)

I'm nearby (Herts) but at the moment the wedge is in dire need of attention after it's Le Mans pilgrimage

Hi Ozzy, I am in East Herts area with a recently purchased 350. Was the club night one of the TVR owners club nights? I will be joining soon and will be able to find out about venues etc.

I live at the bottom of the M1 and worked in Watford for 7 years (just moved office to Ealing a couple of months ago). There was a FHC wedge I used to see occassionally in the office car park next to mine, a couple of years later an S appeared so I assume he downgraded (contraversial!). The was a very nice red M around also (I think it lived in St Albans)

I used to live in Harefield (15 years), and had no idea there were TVR meets taking place!

Never dis a mans Tallulah GP :-) So I guess that means that there is no one here who lives in Watford then.

There is another wedge only two roads up from me, Blue convertible with no badge or markings. Thought they might be a reader here. Never seen the driver....

easy way of finding out what model it is .. approach the owner, say "hi, nice car ... 2 litre tasmin inst it ?"
if it is a 200 Tasmin, he will be very impressed. if it is different youll either get abuse, or will get shown the differences between a series 1 1/2 350 and a 200 tasmin!

Hey hey, yeah I'm in Watford north Watford to be precise. Mine's a pint, no that's not it!! erm yeah mine's a 350i 86 C blue, the exact shade escapes me right now, I think mica, yeah, dodgy fuel gauge, puddles in the foot wells erratic idle,so pretty normal then, I think May 2003 I met a 450i owner in the Tesco filling station in Watford, Black with a huge spoiler and a carbon dash. He invited me to a meet, yeah it was the day my ex kicked me out and I was on my way to my new 1 bed starter flat, Guess I wasn't really in the mood. It was also the same month I lost my premises, It was a huge barn behind some stables where I'd been happy earning my nickname, Inventing, modifying, demisting that was one of my best, A customer with a dead 84 280 (so much water in the tank corroded the whole injection system) 1 light had problems rising to the occasion, upon strip down it was discovered that the teeth in the gearbox of the lift motor were shot. So I used what ever was handy, I kinda had my own mini breakers, so a Honda came to the rescue, oh yeah the heater, the matrix was totally corroded, the valves seized, oh and that direction flap, what the hells that about, have you seen the thickness of the steel in that flap, jeez were they expecting burglars, it's like chassis thick covered in rust, all cocooned in a fibreglass casing, I was like a dog with two thingies. I had this old fiat regatta with a push buttoned electronic control panel, with servos and gears. The matrix was donated from a Honda legend, I cut the fibreglass casing down the centre with an angle grinder, I then isolated the wiring from the fiat control panel, the amount of time I spent on the thing was never going to be profitable, It was actually an advert for my services, some of you are probably thinking, I know why your missus kicked you out, and you'd all be correct, I have done three day stints there. I'd totally loose the plot, anyway the barn was on a valuable bit of land which was being developed, so I was pushed out with all my belonging including a 1968 390 GT fastback mustang unfinished, which is currently up for sale. oh and some lesser classics. bye for now, oh yeah does anyone know what fuel sender was used in the 350i series 2. the prof.
PS I've got a new wife now, much better than the old one, it's like I had a troublesome volvo estate, then santa brought me a lamborghini, oh crap, this is a TVR site, ok a 500 SEAC no no!! a 650 SEAC yeah, that's more like it, I'm also ADD Bye folks. The prof
