I moved house recently, and whilst sifting through all the crap I've accumulated over the years, I came across my 21st birthday cards. One in particular was very interesting as you can see below. Who would have thought that thirteen and half years later I would buy the exact same model as on the card? Fortunately mine looks a hell of a lot better than the one on the card. I'm forty next year, so I'm going to ask the lady that got me the card to get me a birthday card with six numbers on it.

You can't get much better looking than a white 390SE.

One with a passenger mirror would be nice!

nerd That's a fairly dire interpretation of a 390 given that it had been around for years by then - no under-boot wing, no bonnet louvres and what looks like a 350 bonnet anyway... biggrin

The bonnet looks right for a 390SE.

Not all 390s had louvres until after the 420 SE racer proved them.

This looks to be a representation of the yellow one used in all the first series of brochures because of the "venetian blind" radiator grille.
