Clutch master Girling 70 64676310 whats it off ?

No, it's a 0.70" diameter. Depending on who you speak to, it was used on some Triumphs, Lotus Cortina and Lotus Esprit. There would undoubtedly be others: TVR would not have had a special part made for such an 'insignificant' task as lifting the clutch

(clue is in the smiley, before the pedants kick off)Add to the list of "absolutely positively the exact donor vehicles" a FX4 Taxi... Range Rover... SD1.... and most surprsingly of them all, even a Ford which had a cable operated clutch.
All you have is a casting number. If you want a seal kit, just ask for a 0.7 in Girling clutch master seal kit. End of. If you want the clutch master....
Then most of these donor cars had a generic clutch cylinder. The difference is in the hydraulic fitting - make a new pipe if necessary and the push rod - swap with the old one. To be honest, the TVR clutch cylinder is a bit specific to TVR as I understand they deliberately chose a bigger hydraulic fitting. However, by making up a new pipe, this can be overcome and a generic clutch cylinder with the right bore can be used instead.

Hello, life is not that simple, you can`t ask for a .7 seal kit, they are far to clever for that, they made different sizes and styles of pistons so the internal dia. of the seal varied, the good news is that for that casting no.there are only 14 variants, and the external dia. is always 17.8 and it is a CV type to narrow it down further it should have a plastic tag on it starting 66, 67 or 68 but like mine it`s probably long gone or never fitted by the factory to keep the parts a mystery .So back to the problem employing the scattergun technique SP2102 is the old girling no.i would go for, so take your old seals with you and compare,if not them SP2172 OR SP2213 the first fitted 11 out of the 14 the second 2 and the other is an only child, hope that helps and if you need any help finding them e- mail me.Tempus
