i am going to buy a 400/450se next yr has anybody used his (rob ingleby) services. he charges £650 for sourcing a motor and inspection/negotiation on your behalf.

Rob owns a very sorted red 400se , and sometimes turns up at the northants meet , he knows about wedges !

Rob Ingleby looked at mine and Blaines wedges for a potential customer last year. He was very impressed with the condition of both of them.
The only reason the sale did not go through is that neither of us would budge on price.
He wanted £650 off both cars. I could be wrong but I assume he has suggested that although his fees are £650, he guantrees to get them back for the customer by negoiating a discounted price with the seller?

If you give Rob a shout, he had a good look over my car last year and should remember it well. Since then I have thrown lots of time and money at it to make it even better

just tried again .... Pistonheads still reports an invalid email address, but nothing has bounced back at my end yet
