Does the wedge use a manual drive or a speedo transducer.

Thanks

If you are looking for an output for your race logger gear then the hotwires have a widgit that produces a signal for the ecu. The speedo drive feeds into it then another short drive cable goes back out to the speedo itself. I have no idea if it produces a pulse or rising voltage but you might be able to get hold of one to retro fit to a flapper car.

Aye, I'm still trying to find one to try on my cruise control. At the mo I can have cruise or a speedo but not together (the SD1 electronic speedo drive replaces the cable drive at the gearbox)... there is a guy on Ebay with them but he wants silly money.

This is for the Race Car.

The Gearbox I have seems to have a manual drive (95% sure is a 400SE Gearbox.) but I'll be running an Emerald ECU and Digital Dash, so need an eletronic output, there was some LT77 gearbox's that had speedo transducer's, hopfull I can retro fit to an older gearbox.

Just wondered if anyone knew, us won't be able to get under the car tonight to look.

Thanks
Leigh

Don't bother with the gearbox. Add a wheel speed sensor to one of the front wheels. Easy to get at and gives a better indication of true road speed.

ok will do thanks steve.
Was not that overly bothered to get it 100% as will be have a 10mhz gps speed output also.
Was mainly going to be a backup, if the DL1 failed.
