I'm talking sun visors of course!

I found a good way to keep them from flopping down.

Get some sticky-back velcro (Sellotape make it) and stick one piece to the visor, and one piece to the windscreen surround. Then when the visor is up the two halves stick together and keep it there.

I found that about 2" of tape was enough.

No more visors flopping down at speed!

As I only had white and yellow velcro handy I'll redo mine sometime in black - although it means ordering a metre of the stuff. I might get some in before the next wedgefest, cut it up and sell it from a little stall!

HNY one and all... Adam, we have 100m reels of black and white Velcro at work, sew-on and self-adhesive, I can soon snip off a length if you get stuck/ are too tight to pay for it... wink

Beaten to it! Presumably these are for the hood? You could do some smaller ones for the sun visors.

Alternatively, you could buy one pack and a pair of scissors and cut them up into little pieces and sell them on ... wink

No they are for general use. Handy things to have around.

Take them off and wear sunglasses! Saves weight.
Anything you can take off is less to go wrong, keep it simple!
