As the driveshafts are a weak point on wedges - this is probably not an area to save pennies on.

Rev are they better than the HS ones then.
I think I've posted this nugget of information before but just in case...
You need to make sure both ends of the prop are in the same plane otherwise you can get strange vibrations e.g. make sure the splined sliding part is oriented such that the inner (propshaft side)yokes are both horizontal at the same time and therefor the outer (engine & gearbox side) yokes are vertical.
It's to do with the joint design not being constant velocity and making sure that when appropriately phased a pair will cancel each other out.

Hi could you explain this a bit better.
do they have to be the same height, or do they need to be at the same angle. as most gear boxes point upwards a little.
Thanks
Leigh
It's to do with the rotational angle. If the yoke connected to the gearbox is at 12/6 o'clock the one connected to the diff needs to be the same. The job of the joints is to allow some axial misalignment/articulation but they need to be phased so that the net output is a constant velocity. I used to have a link to a java app that explained it well... I'll have a look this evening and post a better explanation.do they have to be the same height, or do they need to be at the same angle. as most gear boxes point upwards a little.
