Does it matter what was round it goes.

i.e. adjustable end at the diff or Gearbox.

as the RC has a protection shield so it will only go in with one end off.

I think the adjustable end is at the gearbox .. was on moine when I took the box out last..

Can't think of any reason why it would matter which end the slider was, given that both ends are bolted to the chassis. Getting the right end fittings for the 'box and diff might be a more important constraint.

just remember it points front to back and not side to side
