Dave

When Autoexpress tested my car they just had a quick dive in the Trough of Bowlands and the to Knott End over Wyre. They took the car before it was taken to dave haughins for it's PDI so were told to take it very easy! I am dubious with that time as wheelspin was a big problem but my brother had a new Esprit Turbo SE at the time and it blew it away!

Weight of the vxr8 is 1831kg !! But it does have 296 bhp/tonne which is 40-50 bhp more than the merc or beemer . The Lotus esprit turbo was 5.3 secs to 60 , not sure about the se version .
