Hi, I have a John Toovey prepared Ford 2.9L V6 cologne engine (carb) fitted in my Tasmin racer. It seems to be going well enough but it sounds a bit "tappety" and may need the gaps resetting. Any ideas on what the gaps should be?

Solid lifters, or hydraulic? You may have to ask John to find out - if they're solid he'd also tell you what the gaps should be in case they're non-standard.
