Light sealant?
Discussion
I've always used silicon bathroom sealent - in either black or clear. I don't know if its the right stuff or not but it doees the job.
You could use sikaflex but it sets as hard as s
t and in the event you wanted to remove a rear light, you'd probably have to break the light to remove it!

Big advantage of a PU sealant in this area rather than a silicone is that when you cut the old sealant out to remove the light you dont have to worry about removing all the residue as it will stick to itself when you reinstall.
Construction stuff is cheaper than the Automotive versions and is very similar!
