getting Fuego lights really is damn tricky. I heard that Thorpy had a few pairs tucked away - but that might be a rumour: on a par with the notion that the Stig is not machine-washable...

You occasionally see a knackered pair on the bay. RPI had a car converted to use 306 clusters or summat similar. Just doesnt look original though...

I wonder if individual round light units could be glassed in to look sensible - would probably still look too modern though.

Ed.

Hey All,

From memory, the bad boy car has got BMW 3 series coupe lights (or at least thats what i thought they were in a photo of the car) as i havent seen in real life. Heard this was coming to BBWF 2008? Hope so, i'm really interested to see her!!

i dont eant to go 'modifying' and change bodywork to fit some other lights as IMHO they never look 'right' even if they can look 'good'...

Shame they are so hard to get hold of but at least i dont hear people say 'oh they are upside down Chavalier or fiesta lights..' and i get to say 'well renault fuego???no? never heard of that? OK, TVR Special!! thumbup

(apologies to all Vectra drivers)

Well as you may have seen in the engine thread, the engine is not quite ready for a sound check.

Different lights on the "Badboy" wedge.
Linky here:
http://www.v8engines.com/vehicle_sales/tvr_badboy_...

If I remember correctly, they were BWM lights.

Car now owned by a guy called Henry Harris. If you give him a shout through the TVRCC or PH forums, I'm sure he'll be able to advise.

They look like Mk4 Cortina lights. By the way, I was looking at the Mk1 Merc C Class light as an alternative or the SL versions...
