A few weeks ago my 1988 350 suddenly started to run very bad. We discoverd a tear in the hose between the plenum and the airflow meter but replacing it with a new one didn't help a bit. Tonight we tried my ecu on my broters 350 and it started to run just like my car. Think that proves the ecu is damaged.... Does anybody know a good adress where i can have it fixed? I'm from the Netherlands so don't have the luxery to just bring it away.

Find someone who is in electronics repair (TV, audio, industrial) and ask them to re-solder both of the circuit boards for you. I'll almost guarantee that will fix it. No need to send it to the UK!

Ian

Edit: if you REALLY get stuck, I'll do it for you...

Thanks for the advise and offer wedg1e! Brought it to a friend who is in electronics and has a hobby in fixing electrical things. Hope he can get it fixed!

TRy swapping the ecu with someone who has the same model - to see if the problem is fixed !
