Well after almost 1/12 years off the road most of that time spent underneath it, the 400 passed the MOT with flying colours today, even the tester said it was a pleasure to test such a car!

I was a bit dissapointed at the rolling road session just 206 bhp at the wheels, there was a certain amount of spin going on though, no tie downs were available! its a bit disconcerting standing at the side of your car while it does 130mph!
Looks like it may need a cam replacement in the not too distant future.

So looks like I will be joining you fellow Wedgies up at Bruntingthorpe,no crash helmet though so might have to watch the run from the sidelines

Not as big as I would like to think it is!
A medium should do just fine thanks for the offer.

Andy.

206 at the wheels is still about 270ish at the flywheel ... almost exact for TVR's figures. Nice to hear a Wedge success story

Sounds good to me. Mine had 212 at the wheels which = 261 at flywheel or there abouts.

Dunno if there is a bigger meeting up in that area?

I will be heading down the M6 from Birmingham, but I am a notoriously bad riser! not sure what time I will drag myself out of bed yet!
What sort of times do you both have in mind? Nuneaton is pretty much on the way for me, how about you RAW-SEWedge?

cheers,

Andy.

No plans yet. I was going to get up and go when I was ready. Looking at the map then Junction 1 M6 area is probably good for both of us but your nearly there then. I'm coming up the A426 from Warwick, setting off 10:30 ish so could be there by 11-11:30.

It's only about 15-20 minutes from there so it's a question of if you think its worth it or just meet up at the airfield. I'm easy

I was meeting up at Nuneaton after seeing the thread I posted above. Traveling up the A45 out of Coventry then into Nuneaton via Meriden. Not sure of the route after that but I used to live there and there a good few roads off the beaten track after Nuneaton.
Schimg has mailed me to say 10 now not 11 am

There is a pub there called the Griff House on the A444 roundabout just south of Nuneaton?

Well Jeff that time change has pretty much ruled me out of that one then

Dave I guess you are right, hardly seems worth the meet up for such a short distance , so a meet up at the airstrip it is then. Will the cars be sectioned off according to models? or is it just a park anywhere affair?

It would be nice to get the Wedgies together, and im sure the other model owners would feel the same, if only to keep us noisy lot out of the way

Andy.
