Would recommend bridgestone RE720 as have these on the wedge, but seems they are not producing them anymore.
If you have 15 inch rims it will be difficult to find V-rated or better tyres anyway. Going wider (205/60 to 225/50) seems to give more options. Some even go to 16 or 17 inch rims + tyres.....
Will start looking myself after the summer to know what to replace it with.

I am also currently looking at the options.
The more polular and fashionable tyres may not be available in 205/60/15/V but there is a reasonable choice.
Maybe Falken 512s or Vredestein Sportrac 3 thro to mainstream brands and even road legal track tyres from Yokohama.
Event tyres seem to be helpful and fairly good on price.

Ive bought Falken ZE512's for mine time and time again for the wedge. 225 50 15 on mine, and ive never had any problems. Heard mixed reviews but only comment would be that they are average in the wet but quite sticky in the dry!
They, like all tyres, have gone up a bit but i tend to pay £75 a corner fitted VAT etc.... Bought some new ones thursday yesterday! Now on 3rd set on rear, and second on the front in 2 years!!!

I spent days trying to work out what tyres to buy as the ones on my car were 10 yrs old and slippier than a wet fish. After being totally humiliated by some Kendal Mintcakes in their posey curvemobiles I decided new rubber was needed and I eventually settled for Toyo Proxy T1-R, the latest spec tyre and an upgrade from the T1-S. This was the only sticky rubber I could find as most 205/15 rubber is for family saloons nowadays. Blackcircle were unbelievably cheap (less than £250 for 4 fitted) and I got them fitted by their local dealer Smithy garage in Lea, Preston(3 miles away and superb service) after a 48hr wait. The replacements were 205/55R15 88V, as opposed to the correct 205/60. This means the gearing is slightly lower and the speedo slightly over reads at high speed(not a bad thing!). However, the car's handling is transformed and I can now blast it with confidence wet or dry and now the Kendal Mintcakes eat dust. Regards, Mark
