Fuel Gauge Help for Wedge Newbie

Hi to all on the forum as I am new to wedges but not TVR's.

I have just picked up a 400SE which is great but the fuel gauge is very irratic. Even with the tank full it is sometimes stable but at other times it is moving up and down very quickly.

Any suggestions before I take a serious look at it. Is this a common fault?

if it wasn't moving around then i would be worried.

Yes If you ever find one that work correctly. it must be a re-bodied Jap or German car.
