The part between the two fuel tanks, what is it? and where can i get one?

Is it a filter? Or just a bypass?

Thought it was just to connect the two tanks.. it's something like 12mm fuel hose.

It's a small metal tank, two big entries for fuel > fuel goes in, then theres a small one at the bottom with a 90degree bend.

It's xtremely rusty, now the fuel started to come out due to rot.

Its the swirl pot
Acts as a small resevoir between the tanks and fuel pump.
Pots with 25mm connections also act as the balance pipe between the tanks

I think Spub and RT racing are possible sources for replacement

Also if it the swirl pot, there are two sizes.
The 400SE use the larger size and the 350's use the smaller ones.
Last time I was after one Towerview, RT and SH had the small bore version.

Had to pre-order the larger bore. but RT said they was getting more made.

one thing to remember the after market swirl ports DON'T have a pre-filter fitter like the orignals so your need to add a pre-filter else your foook you pump within a few weeks / months
