Does look nice. not a bad price either.

Always makes me laugh tho when the quote the Factory figures, also 275 BHP was only for the andy rouse engines. was 268 for the NCK engines, both are OTT.

Also not a good Idea to let it warm up on idle. more than a few mins, due to excessive cam ware. unless you keeping it about 2k.

Hehehe if my future project goes ahead as hoped, we'll see those figures blown into the weeds smile

I might even call it a 390SE FHC rofl

Mmmm,
If I bought it and stuck a "SEAC" sticker on it, would it be a genuine SEAC?

I decided that it was no fun planning to spend £4000 on a V6 that could only be used on the track when I could buy a V8 FHC for the road biggrin

I want a TVR I can use and enjoy regularly

Nice car and nice colour too!

Is it me or does it have vents at the right rear of the bonnet in the right hand profile pic, but they're not there on the front 3/4 pic....??! scratchchin

It's in my neck of the woods if anyone would like me to have a look for them wink

No, but you could stick a bigger engine in a 350 and call it a 450! ;-) Swings and roundabouts..

Afraid not Rev.
I would say the Chim is a better car than the wedge but its no where near as fun - almost too.... "clinical" for what I think a TVR should be. A Chim has no soul. I'll try a Tuscan next and if that doesn't do it, I'll be back in Wedgedom cloud9
thumbup.

A very nice car indeed. Pity that someone bolted the side of a shed to the bootlid, though.

Having recently sold a mint 450 Chim, i have to agree with 'no soul' bit.
I just didn't take to it.
Love my wedge.. and my previous 400. (just wish my new wedge was a flapper..miss the pops).

Edit to add: Love the colour of the 390

Got to agree .. my first TVR was a 89 400SE and a flapper and it was almost as quick as a griff 500 .. about the same as a griff 4.3 and had the best pops and bangs ever !

The SEAC is a hot wire and does not have the same character at all .. shame.

The Griff 500 I had was classy and did everything very well.

The T350 - well that popped and banged very nicely - so loads of character but also cost me plenty in running costs..
