Well after taking the wedge out in the rain this afternoon, I remembered I need new heater and lights switches

Which car where they from soI can order them from Rimmers in the morning as have to use the wedge as a daily driver for a couple of weeks as just sold the cav and dont get the veccie for at least a week

Hey ho only a 40 mile return trip so £10 quid a day will hopefully pay for petrol at the current prices yikes

It's a 3-position switch, and there are two rocker contacts inside it.

When you say 3 position switch do you mean
FAN
off
low speed
high speed

LIGHTS
off
side
main

As I have now ordered 2 light switches smile

Whoo hoo - keep the old ones though, you can scrounge good bits off to repair the others when they go wrong...

My heater switch went south and TVR car parts had one. Didn't buy it though, try them?

Also, looking at the panel and the way the switch is fitted and all that. I think there must be an after market option. That is a suitable switch, and mounting can be made, not with 6 inch bolts. Still not found the right switchgear though.

Ok next thing on my 4 year old list, looking for the heater slider control knob. Willing to buy or steal from someone.
So firstly who had a spare one

thirdly where does one buy them from

That's the first time I've heard this - they are rare.

But if XJS or 6 - maybe not...

I think the S car used the same switches.
Maybe one of them may know a better source.

Got the switches from Rimmer Bros, didn't have a blower switch so ordered 2 light switches, and one day I'll take the old heater switch apart and stick new inards inside - but it'll probably never happen
