Tacho wiring diagram

Still trying to get my tacho to work with MS.

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for it. The nearest I could find was for a TR8, which is sort of Wedge shaped, but is it the same?

It mentions ballast resistors etc and I can't remember seeing one of those anywhere.

is it a wedge and what year, i have recently had all my instruments out so know the colours of the wires from back of rev counter.

Jon, It's a 390 of 1987 vintage.

Got a wiring diagram from Rev-erend yesterday, so I'm thinking I should be sending a signal to the White/yellow wire that comes from the coil. The colours being from that diagram. Had alook up beneath the dash and it looks a nightmare to access.

behind the dash is a f****ng nightmare, my wiring from the back of the gauge is green, white/black and black but you need hands the size of a 7 year old to get at them i had a problem with the instrument lights and ended up taking all the instruments out, never agian i hope
