Hi
does anyone know if its possible to get new (or recon) wheel centre caps? my car is an '87 350i with lattice alloys.

They are like the proverbial hen's teeth.

There was a NOS set on e-bay a couple of years ago, fetched £120 IIRC.

You may be better refurbing what you have got. You can get self adhesive tvr badges from e-bay. They are larger than the centres of the origional caps but you can make them fit.

I have a set for the 14" wheels on a 280i but don't know if theywill fit the 15" versions from a 350i.

I have about 3 spare ones that are for sale, but they are quite old and have been buffed up to make them shinny again.

The 14 inch wheels use bigger centre caps than the 15's and won't fit, however, the centre TVR badges are the same.
