Wedgers - take a look at the front cover of the new Evo magazine showing the forthcoming £150,000 Ferrari California convertible. It's a TVR I tell you - just like a Wedge.

And guess what - it is a V8 front engined rear wheel drive car!

Is this how you put a picture into a post? It seems the front cover of my mag is different from the one shown on the Evo website.

Anyway, in profile it looks very TVR Wedge!

Well, obviously that's not the way to do it. Just a link then.

Looks like a Honda S 2000 from the side.

It's a bit of a styling mess really - something Ferrari seems to be doing a bit more of lately. But no doubt there will be plenty of buyers.

It looks rather like a Wedge in profile outline - low swooping front leading through to a raised boot area. The Wedge has the kick-up at the trailing edge of the door to give a higher rear end, and this has a kick-up and a sculpted line to give the same higher rear end for golf clubs etc. Rear view is very BMW Z3

With an accentuated, but now standard, Ferrari house-design front smile it is really something of a mess, rather like the Testa Rossa was.

Mind you, I wouldn't chuck it back if I had one given to me.
