Paint code needed!

Hi

I need the paint code for my 350i (1983)
My body shop are having a problem matching the TVR paint code.
TVR called the colour Artic Green, but I no its a Ford colour CRYSTAL GREEN metalic. I even have a Holts dupli-colour num Code#LF124
Has any won an idea on a proper paint code.
This problem is holding the restoration up! I was hoping to have it ready for BBWF but with out this code no chance (This year)

Tvr's don't do paint codes , the paintshop will easily match the colour !

Nightmare to find, mine was the same.

I was only after touch up paint.

I got some of ebay in the end.

Just stick TVR Paint in the search on there and ask the guy what the code

exists or he may point you in the right direction.

I thought Artic Green was a Rover Colour.

Isn't there a code on the plate under the bonnet?

Once you have this then there used to be a website that you can put the code in and it will give you the formula / substitute for it. I took the 450SE code to my local motor factors who were 'ICI paint' (or whatever) registered and they made up a spray, touch up paint and a spare bottle for £11.

Do a search as this has been discussed previously in depth.

The body code quoted on the plate under the bonnet is actually the ICI paint code used on the car. I used a company called Paints-4-U and e-mailed them the code and had a touch in the next day. They can also supply two pack etc to paint the whole car. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all your advice etc.
The problem I have is the vehicle data plate has been removed so the car can have a full body repint back to the original colour.
But my wife has cleared up behind me and I have not been able to find it in any of the boxes the car bits are in.
That's why I hope some one has a Artic Green car can give me the paint code/numbers etc. HELP!!!!!!!!!

The colour has been matched as Ford Crystal Green Metalic cica 1981/82
So the rebuild can now continue!
