Fuel hose reminder.
Discussion
I know it's been mentioned already, but as a result of the last fuel hose discussion, I asked Richard Thorpe to check mine while my car is there.
He's informed me that the large hose under the tanks was in a dangerous condition, and of course is now being replaced.
Well worth having a check underneath fellow Wedgers.
Also had engine mounts replaced, and it was found that the slightly lower driver's side was due to suspension geometry being a little out, and spring seat needing adjusting at the rear, because of 'settling down'. (Only fitted about 4,000 miles back)... No broken springs.
The manifold flared ends were knacked, and have had new ends welded on, as manis themselves were in good nick (thank god!)
Proper Borg and Beck clutch has been fitted now, and oil and filter changed.
Bluddy speedo packed up on the way down, so a new cable going in.
Hopefully I will be re-united with my Wedge shortly, but I may have to live on bread and water next month
