Just had to replace my Tie Bar bushes on my 1990 400SE

I was quoted all sorts of expensive prices (+£60)for
"Compliance Bush Kits" etc from the usual sources
but managed to get some from a place in Leeds called
the Unique Ford Parts supplies costing about £8+Vat per side

They are genuine Ford parts and I thought I would post
the part Nos for anyone who may be interested.
You can probably get them from most Ford dealers
but without the part Nos it is more difficult
Most people already know they are Cortina Mk 4 or 5/Granada Mk 2 bushes

1509411 Washers (Large)
6050265 and 6050266 (They are called Insulator T/Bar Bushes)
or GLEITLAGER in German

Hope this of help to someone

Cheers Richard

Good information and thanks!
When I was searching last year for the same my nearest Ford main dealer said "these are obsolete though you might find some on the shelf if your lucky".
I found a place whose business was in obsolete Ford parts and they supplied the bits for an equivalent peanuts value.

The hard parts to find are the thin inner washers and the spacer tubes.

Thank's

Sent the codes to my man who will order me some.

Is ok to put the codes in the WiKi. on MOT parts.

Hi Adam

Yes I'm sure that was the place (my mechanic actually got them for me)
and apparently there is an older guy there who loves talking about TVRs

Cheers
