It was for sale on here last year. General consensus was that it was a bit of a mixture of all the models but looked a good buy. I certainly would, as long as it was straight, especially at that price.
It's crying out for a 4.6......
Your right Wyn, remember seeing it on Pheads classified previously.

PS. think I saw your old 450 at Lemons a few weeks ago - Looked like it was sporting a new bonnet scoop?
If you look inside the wheel arch you will notice overspray - this tells me the car is probably 350i that has had a recent bout of bodywork with a clumsy dose of paint. Another giveaway are the screen pillars which are narrower than the SE cars.
If I were looking to buy, I would ask the seller what the bodywork history was, definitely do an HPi and get the chassis fully inspected in case had been bent or snapped.
The engine is unlikely to be original if its a 3.9. My hunch would be to walk away if any of the above is suspect.

I'd be asking why he's selling it so soon after buying it. Before buying my Chim I did think about going to have a look at this and that was only about xmas time. Still, looks like a v. nice wedge
Because he's a (part-time) dealer.
I bought back my 400SE from him a couple of months ago...but of course I knew what I was buying.

Small world isn't it.
