found an m141cap,will it fit 280i

I found someone with an M-141 center cap. I just need to know if it will fit on the original lattice type rim. My 3 caps don't have any markings on them.

Hi hansen. I don't know if the M-141 will fit. My caps are original and are stamped with M-140 Route O.Z.

Hansen12 in reply to you question in this thread and in the other two! The difference between an M140 and an M141 is the diameter that it fits into in the road wheel. IIRC the M140 is a larger diameter than the M141. My previous 280 DHC (14"wheels) used the M141 as do my spare 15" wheels for my Tasmin Turbo. The M140 were also fitted to both cars? Hope this makes some sense. Chris.
