Been lurking and searching (some good stuff) for a while and have now aquired a 350i.

Some (but not much) stuff to do but one thing that I hope you can help with is a squeak coming from rear suspension. I think this is the culprit but not sure why, any ideas.

Picture is where A arm connects to inner chassis and there has been rubbing

Surface rust is being done now! (those 3M clean/strip really do work!)

There is a good chance that a difficult to track down squeak will be a knackered UJ

I've hade bushes squeak. Quick shot of WD40 on them proved or discounted the bush as the source. But that was on mine.

When does it happen and what sort of squeak? (as in metal on metal etc)

I don't think there is a single area of my wedge that isn't squeaking!

David, Welcome to the madhouse. WD sounds like your best bet. Squeaks, rattles, bumps, wind through the dood jams, etc, etc are part of the deal with a Wedge but the Roar makes it all worthwhile.

I can't believe no-one has suggested a louder exhaust yet!
