I'm hoping to place a medium-sized order to get here in time for BBWF - so there will be no P+P.

Price TBA but I'm hoping sub-fiver, for a quality brass and stainless spring cap, 15psi rating, dual seal.

Post a reply if interested in one. They are shinney (note - the cap pressing is mild steel zinc plated so it won't take a high gloss shine), for V8 engines, but only order more than one if your wife says so ;^)

Adam, if you buy a load and put a price on them we can stick them on the WSV stand and sell them on for you

Seeing as we don't seem to be selling those tubs of curry paste (Woody where are you ?) like last year smile

Oh go on then. I've resisted long enough. The one on the car is perfectly serviceable but a spare is a good idea. Do you take payment in hard currency or soft beer tokens?

Shinney pounds or folding fivers.

To be honest I don't hold out much hope that this is actually gooing to happen in time, the sales guy is being really elusive and the factory actually has to make them which takes time. Plus I wanted to evaluate one for a few days first to make sure it was the correct spec.

We'll see - if he comes back to me tomorrow then there's a fighting chance of getting a batch done. If the price is too high I'll scotch it, though.

you sure 15 PSI is right for the wedge, I'm sure LR and SD1's used 9 PSI, but could be wrong.

Price update: £2 each!!!

So I'm ordering 100. They should be with me on Thurdsay.

WSV chaps YHM.

Yes I think 15psi is good, it's what I used on the P6. But let me know if you have a definitive reference. It helps with gasket leaks too!

Just checked Haynes manuals for SDi and V8 P6, both agree on 15psi cap pressure, so I'll get them.

Quite right too!

Anyone know the pressure rating for the V6 engine?

If the cap fits a 280i I'd like someone to try one and run it up to pressure - there's a free cap in it for you.

Then I can send a batch over to Marshall in the 'states.

Can you get the swan neck blanking caps made in stainless? Im sure this would be a good seller.
