Hey, yeah Nitro mors is the stuff you need.

It wont eat into the metal but will take your skin off so be careful!!

Depends if you want to do the properjob and take the studs out. If you do, its much more expensive (changing the bolts and re sealing the wheels) and hard o polish between the studs...

I de laquered up to the studs. Mine arent perfect as i havent put enough time in, but much better than they were to say the least!

Have a lil lookie at the fest thumbup

ditto to Nitro Moors but as Matt said you'll have no finger prints left unless you use xteen layers of rubber gloves. eek

I went upto the rivets on one wheel and then tried using a tooth brush for between the rivets and it looks much better but be prepared to spend a couple hours per wheel at least. Also brings ya teeth up nice afterwardswink

I also bought some new OZ-Racing graphics off Ebay about £2.50 each, finishes it off.

Good luck

Yep - nitromorse used carefully did the job for my wheels. I then went for wet and dry (1500 then onto 2000) which after some autosol and then meguiars metal polish gave a proper mirror like finish - ask anyone who saw the car last year smile

What you could do Dan is sort the bolts out too. I removed the bolts on my old wheels and while I took the bolts out, I replaced with an ordinary nut and bolt which kept the wheels nicely together (you'l need to reseal the wheel if you simply remove all the securing bolts around the outside).
I then soaked the nuts in a rust removing compund for a coulple of days and finished them off with a fine wire brush took. The nuts then got taken to a local firm and I had them zinc plated to give a nice bright durable finish and stop any more rust. Cost for this was £20 all in, rather than £2.50 per bolt!

Very time consuming to do, but seeing what you have done alreay, I doubt you'd have a problem.

See you on Sunday bud.

Oh, BTW yesterday i ruined my jeans with pissing thinners mad trying to clean the crap off of the laquer! Be careful when you do it!

I'm going to do:

Nitro Mors
Thinners
Megs NXT metal polysh
Two layers of DODO
One layer of Autoglym High Definition wax, to give it the ultimate pop!

Should do it smile

To stop them from staining Dan, Spray a little WD40 onto the polished rims and wipe round with a piece of kitchen towel. The shine will dull slightly but stops the wheels deteoriating.
