Well, im just leaving to pick up the 400SE from Peninsula following July's Snapped Crankshaft.
If anyone spots the Blue Beast, give us a toot / wave.. if anyone see's it parked on the hard shoulder, please stop and give me a tow!

Right, Just back from le Surrey Run .. Wedge behaved beautifully.
managed a whopping 1127 miles since 14:00 Friday, most of it in 5th gear, some of it at between 2500 rpm - 350 rpm, but some at 5500rpm!!!. Wicked.
Certainly pulls a lot stronger in 5th when you bury the throttle with the bigger heads.
Obviously burning a lot of oil in the running in process too.

I am waiting for the final Engine Spec to be confirmed by V8 Developments.

Still a few Gremlins to be sorted .. speedo cable snapped 600 miles into the trip, then the hinge fell out of the headlamp pod as we boarded the ferry in the wee hours on Saturday morning, making for interesting driving.
Comming back, the wedge was left to defend the honour of all things wedgie, leaving a french escort cossie behind @ 135 mph down a motorway, and generally arse about in some of the carparks. (There is awsome tyre smoking video footage to follow)

Phah!... sideays on the wrong side of the road is my speciality!

Just wait until you see the video of the French McDonnalds CarPark. (Buster was there too, but I have not seen the footage he took, so Ill wait until I get his before compiling it into a neet little 30 second cut)
NACUD will testify for the brief encounter he had with the wedge in Le Mans too.

Hope nobody at Peninsula see's it, they might not be impressed with you!!

BTW, I'm putting the 390 up for sale very soon, so we must meet up before it goes (but not this coming weekend - working!).

Rich.
