I was there on Sunday but had to take family and a friend in the Tin top
(I was also in York at the Pavilion at a wedding on Saturday)

I didn't see your other post that you were going until yesterday
My email and internet is in my home office so I don't usually go on at the weekend
and I think you had posted later on Friday evening?

I have a friend who drives a Formula Ford 2000cc and a friend's son who drives a FF 1600cc
so we had a foot in both camps throughout the day

I kept looking for Wedges as I thought Carob was going, but unfortunately I didn't see any
and my wife asked if I had seen 2, only as we drove home
(I was also pre occupied as the battery on my Vectra SRi suddenly decided to give up the ghost
and I ended up driving home on the start up battery from the FF1600 car)

Are you going to Wedge Fest?

Hi Richard.

Sorry to have missed you...didn't take the Wedge, as I'd seen the forecast, and no fun driving in the wet.
Fortunately did take my personal full wet weather gear.

I don't know whether Carob went or not, as he spat his dummy out after mistakenly thinking that I was having a dig at him on the thread the other day, when in fact I was making fun of myself (being tight-fisted) in a reply to you.

Oh well...c'est la vie.

Unfortunately Wedgefest clashes with my son and I going off camping, and not enough room in the Wedge for all our gear (and not enough cash in the bank for 15mpg ). We went to BBWF in 2005 and 2006.

There is still time for a change of plans though, as we normally just go on spec', and I want to go to Silverstone...so much to fit in.

I'll try to get along to one of our more local events sometime, so then we can have a chat.
